Firefly Handmade Fall Market
Oct. 10–11  |  10 a.m.–4 p.m.

More than 80 artists, makers, and designers fill the Pearl Street Pedestrian Mall for Firefly Handmade’s Fall Market. Shop locally made art, craft, and design, enjoy live music from Colorado artists, and explore downtown restaurants and shops. Free admission; family-friendly. fireflyhandmade.com

Keep Boulder Wild
Oct. 17  |  11 a.m.–4 p.m.

Yellow Barn Farm hosts a global-meets-local gathering centered on ceremony, movement, music, and regenerative action. Programming includes yoga, an Indigenous elders’ ceremony, dance, live music, nature-based practices, talks with local food and land leaders, and farm tours with Azuraye Wycoff. Munchkin Masquerade
Oct. 31  |  3–6 p.m.

Pearl Street fills with pint-size ghosts, goblins, dinosaurs, dragons, fairies, superheroes, and assorted creatures during Downtown Boulder’s annual Halloween tradition. Children ages 12 and younger are invited to dress up and trick-or-treat along Pearl Street and throughout downtown. Free. boulderdowntown.com

Firefly Handmade Holiday Market
Nov. 14–15  |  10 a.m.–4 p.m.

More than 80 curated artists, makers, and designers bring locally made goods to the Pearl Street Pedestrian Mall for two days of holiday shopping. The outdoor market also features live music, food and drink options, and easy access to downtown shops, restaurants, and bars. Free admission; family-friendly. fireflyhandmade.com

Switch on the Holidays
Nov. 22  |  11 a.m.–7 p.m. and lighting at 5 p.m.

Downtown Boulder kicks off the holiday season with the Cookie Crawl from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by afternoon performances and activities. The grand illumination of Pearl Street Mall, the Civic Area, and the Boulder County Courthouse begins at 5 p.m., and Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for free visits until 7 p.m.

Sustainability Forum: Exploring Regenerative Agriculture

Go behind the scenes at Yellow Barn Farm for an immersive look at regenerative agriculture with Drylands Agroecology Research. Lafayette Music Fest

More than 200 Colorado bands and musicians take over eight stages across Lafayette for one massive celebration of the local music scene. CU Boulder Homecoming: Colorado Buffaloes vs. Texas Tech

Cheer on the Buffs as they take on the Texas Tech Red Raiders in the 2026 CU Boulder Homecoming game at Folsom Field. The matchup caps Homecoming Weekend, Sept. 30–Oct. 3, as CU celebrates its 150th anniversary. colorado.edu

Open Studios Fall Tour
Oct. 3–4 and 10–11  |  noon–5 p.m.

Artists throughout Boulder County open their working studios to the public for two weekends, offering a look at where—and how—the work is made. Longmont Museum Grand Reopening Celebration

Celebrate the newly expanded Longmont Museum with a free community-wide reopening. A 9 a.m. ribbon cutting kicks off a day of new galleries, special programs and tours, hands-on activities, and the debut of DreamLab. World Singing Day Boulder

Día de Muertos Family Celebration

Celebrate the 26th anniversary of Colorado’s longest-running public Day of the Dead celebration in Downtown Longmont. The outdoor street festival features traditional live music and dance, face painting, sugar skull decorating, crafts, food trucks, a kids’ play zone, local vendors, a Gigantes

Boulder Jewish Film Festival

The 14th annual Boulder Jewish Film Festival returns to the Dairy Arts Center with films exploring the human experience through a Jewish lens. NoBo First Friday

Longmont Turkey Trot

The Last Waltz—Revisited

The 22nd annual Colorado tradition returns to Boulder Theater with more than 60 guest musicians, The Denver Horns, and more than 30 songs celebrating The Band’s legendary farewell concert. The 2026 production also marks the 50th anniversary of the original Last Waltz. The Nutcracker at Macky Auditorium
Nov. 27 and 29

Boulder Ballet and the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra bring Tchaikovsky’s beloved holiday classic back to Macky Auditorium. Full-length performances are Nov. 27 and 29 at 4 p.m. A new one-hour Nutcracker Suite, designed for first-time and younger theatergoers, is Nov. 29 at 1 p.m. boulderballet.org
