Conference on World Affairs CWA Week April 10-14: CWA Week, held each spring on the CU campus, is a festival of ideas featuring 200 panels plus 100 speakers and performers discussing the arts, media, science, technology, politics, business, human rights and more. Elevations Credit Union Reality Check Seminars Elevations Credit Union offers dozens of free presentations each year at its different area branches—on topics like Social Security, retirement, real estate, investing and wills—and you don’t have to be a credit union member to attend. Ignite Boulder Dec. 14: Ignite Boulder is a “night of geeky presentations with a twist.” Each speaker has five minutes each to teach us something, enlighten us or simply entertain us, backed by 20 slides that advance every 15 seconds. The Integral Center The Integral Center is a place where members can meet others, work, take classes, listen to presentations, and more. There’s something on the calendar nearly every day of the week, including yoga and meditation, and the center is also home to the Mandala Integrative Medicine Clinic. University of Colorado Museum of Natural History The Museum of Natural History on the CU campus offers numerous workshops, lectures, classes and forums all year long, and many are free.
