Denver Botanic Gardens Denver Botanic Gardens offers acres of plant displays, classes for all ages, lectures, plant shows, gardening certification, botanical illustration instruction, storytimes, and a great deal more. New “Off the Clock” events for adults at the York Street location feature live music, dancing, food and drink, and themed activities; 6-9:30pm. Growing Gardens This Boulder nonprofit’s mission is to enrich the lives of our community through sustainable urban agriculture. April, TBA: Children’s Bee Earth Day Harlequin’s Gardens Harlequin’s Gardens, 4795 N. 26th St., offers low-cost classes on a variety of garden topics; check online in the spring for the new schedule. Hudson Gardens Littleton’s Hudson Gardens offers numerous free or low-cost educational sessions all summer on topics like beekeeping and vegetable gardening. Visitors can observe Master Gardeners planting, weeding and harvesting, and then ask questions or get advice.
