Local Breweries Bury the Competition

Some of the country's best brewers are in Boulder County

We really didn’t need proof that some of the country’s best brewers are right here in Boulder County—but we’ll gladly take it. Local breweries garnered nine medals in the 2016 Great American Beer Festival, including three golds. A competition of national renown, the GABF has been a Denver tradition every fall since 1982. The festival is attended by thousands of hops aficionados, so winning a medal is no small deal.
