Colorado Shakespeare Festival

For nearly 70 seasons, the Colorado Shakespeare Festival has delighted audiences with classic theater under the stars. Boulder Pridefest 2026
June 13

Celebrate Pride from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. at the Boulder Main Library parking lot with a lively, family-friendly festival. Enjoy diverse performances, delicious food, interactive activities, and giveaways throughout the day. Boulder Garden Tour
June 27

Join Garden to Table’s largest annual fundraiser, a self-guided walking tour of stunning North Boulder gardens from 9 a.m.–2 p.m. Visit the headquarters at Foothill Elementary’s school garden and enjoy artists, local nonprofits, and activities along the way. Free Family Festival
July 4

Celebrate Independence Day at this free, family-friendly festival in Longmont honoring Colorado’s 150th anniversary and the nation’s 250th. Enjoy live entertainment across three stages, games, and activities for all ages, plus local food vendors and community booths. RockyGrass
July 24–26

Celebrate the 54th annual RockyGrass festival at Planet Bluegrass Ranch in Lyons, where bluegrass fans gather for a weekend of music and community. Boulder County Pride Month
June 1–30

Whether you’re looking for something the whole family can take part in or a more 21+ experience, there’s something for everyone during Boulder County Pride Month. Sign up for teen art classes, adult networking events, music, trivia, dancing, and more.

Discoteca Fantasía: Pride Kickoff Party
June 5

Kick off Pride Month in Longmont from 7–11 p.m. at Dickens Opera House with a high-energy night of drag performances and dancing inspired by queer club music and ’80s pop latino. Longmont Pride
June 6

Celebrate community and connection from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. at Roosevelt Park. This family-friendly event features live performances, local vendors, community partners, interactive activities, and plenty of food and giveaways. Queer Circus in Boulder
June 7

Experience a bold Pride celebration with doors at 7 p.m. at Junkyard Social Club. This 18+ cabaret-style variety show features LGBTQ+ comedians, dancers, poets, and performers from across the region. Hosted by Ren Q. Dawe, the evening promises unforgettable entertainment, with drinks available for purchase for guests 21+. rmequality.org

Boulder Pridefest 2026
June 13

June 16

Celebrate Pride from 2–4 p.m. at the Louisville Public Library with an afternoon for LGBTQIA+ teens and allies in grades 6–12. Enjoy crafts, snacks, activities, and conversation in a welcoming, supportive space. Youth Pride
June 22

Join an evening of celebration from 5–8 p.m. at the Equality Center of the Rocky Mountains. Enjoy free food, fun activities, Bubbles Beyond Belief, and a lively drag showcase. Lyons Pride
June 27

Celebrate Pride from 2–5 p.m. at Sandstone Park in Lyons. This community gathering invites attendees to come together in a scenic outdoor setting to honor and support LGBTQ+ pride. Campus Life: 150 Years of Human and More-Than-Human Relationships at CU Boulder Exhibition
Through December 2026

Campus Life explores the shared history of humans and more-than-human inhabitants over the 150 years of CU Boulder, documenting their evolving relationship. The works exhibited illustrate how different forms of life coexist on campus through a diverse collection of visual media, including historical maps, photographs, original watercolors, and modern cartography that tracks current and past human-wildlife interactions. As part of the exhibition, the curators are collecting oral stories from peoples’ experiences with the more-than-human on and around campus. colorado.edu

Cultural Caravan June Festival
June 4–14

A 10-day burst of creative energy, this festival features live performances by local musicians, poets, dancers, and more in pop-up venues throughout Boulder County. The lineup includes everything from jazz to chamber music to storytelling. culturalcaravan.org

Boulder Jewish Festival
June 7

The city’s longest-running cultural festival celebrates Jewish music, food, and art. Held on the Pearl Street Mall, the event features live performances, community booths, and family-friendly activities. 11 a.m.–5 p.m. boulderjcc.org

Bands on the Bricks
June 10–July 29

Louisville Street Faire
June 12–August 7

June 13

Juneteenth Flag Raising
June 14

Celebrate Juneteenth with the City of Boulder from 3–5 p.m. at the Penfield Tate II Municipal Building. The event includes a flag-raising ceremony, remarks from community leaders, and live entertainment by Selasee and the FaFa Family band. Boulder Comedy Festival
June 16–21

Bike, Walk, & Wheel Week
June 19–25

Celebrate active transportation during Louisville’s weeklong event, encouraging the community to ditch the car and explore biking, walking, and transit options. Flatiron Sounds Music Festival
June 21

A free afternoon of music in Chautauqua Park featuring local bands, food vendors, a beer garden, and artisan booths. Bring a blanket and soak up the good vibes from 1–8 p.m. Explore a vibrant vendor market, savor delicious bites from local food vendors, and sip on refreshing brews in the beer garden. Bike & Walk to Work Day
June 24

Celebrate sustainable commuting. Breakfast stations in and around Boulder will serve free food and drinks to an estimated 7,000 participants riding or walking to work from 6:30–9 a.m. Join the fun with your fellow bicyclists, and please encourage others to join in! walkandbikemonth.org

Tube to Work Day
June 26

Boulderites don their best business attire and hit the creek in this yearly tubing tradition. The event starts at Eben G. Boulder Environmental/Nature/Outdoors Film Festival
