Outdoor food court is family-friendly
By Haley Gray Rayback Collective, Boulders much-anticipated food truck park, opened with a bang July 15. The trendy industrial space is housed in the old Rayback Plumbing warehouse at 2775 Valmont Roadat the northwest corner of 28th Street and Valmont. And it now teems with hungry Boulderites every nonworking hour of the night and day. Raybacks towering stacks of toilets and piping of yesteryear have been replaced by a tidy, family-friendly outdoor food court with a rotating lineup of local food trucks that switch out every day for both lunch and dinner. The site also features picnic tables, and cornhole and bocce ball pitches. Inside, the sprawling warehouse has single-party and community tables, a 30-tap bar pouring local craft beer and wine, a stage for live music, and a venue for film screenings and other events.
