July 24 I Have a Dream Annual Golf Tournament

This annual tournament at the Omni Interlocken Resort Golf Club raises funds to assist low-income children to-and-through college. The tournament features a four-person scramble with a shotgun start, and teams compete for various prizes on almost every hole. Visit www.ihadboulder.org.    

Aug. 5 Leftapalooza

This festival raises funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Left Hand Brewing Foundation. Listen to talented cover acts during the Mile High Tribute Band Competition, while enjoying local food and craft beers. There’s also a kid zone. Visit www.lefthandbrewing.com  

Aug. 5 Growing Gardens Farm Dinner

Feast beneath the stars while local chefs collaborate on a five-course meal with locally raised organic ingredients to create memorable dishes paired with wine and beer. Sept. 10 Buffalo Bicycle Classic

“Ride Bikes. Change Lives.” is the motto of this benefit that raises scholarship funds for CU students. Participants have seven courses to choose from, including 14, 35, 50, 70, 75, 100 and 110 milers, all with different elevation gains. Visit www.buffalobicycleclassic.com.
