Tap4Tap program benefits access to clean drinking water
About 663 million people in the world do not have access to clean drinking water. Without such a basic necessity, proper nutrition, education and economic opportunities aren’t possible.
That’s why brews flowed freely during a “tap takeover” Aug. 18 at Boulder’s Under the Sun Eatery and Pizzeria. The south-Boulder establishment teamed up with Denver’s Renegade Brewing Company, which “took over” eight of the restaurant’s 30 beer taps for its Tap4Tap program. Each gallon of Renegade beer sold provided a gallon of fresh drinking water for people in need.
The benefit also featured live music for a toe-tapping worthy cause.
